Thank you for your assistance as we completed our first Virtual Wednesday on October 28. It was definitely a successful day for meeting, planning, student support and outreach. These days will continue to allow our faculty to better serve the needs of all of our learners, both virtual(at home) and blended (on site).
As we stated in the Virtual Wednesday document, we will continue this through the end of January. For clarity, the Virtual Wednesdays will occur on November 4, 11, 18, December 2, 9, 16 and January 6, 13, 20 and 27.
There are four additional Student Contact/Virtual Days that were scheduled in our calendar to cover the days that school was pushed back at the beginning of the year. These days are November 5-6 and 23-24. These will look very much like the Virtual Wednesdays, however, the schools will not be open for students on these days. The staff members were required to participate in professional development before school started so there will be no staff on site at the school buildings on these four days.
