On Tuesday, December 9th the Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission - A Division of the Arkansas Department of Education will host a Non-Violence Youth Summit at the Academies of West Memphis.
· From 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, students from AWM will be engaged in seminars. The proposed topics include:
o Vaping/Substance Abuse
o Self Awareness
o Financial Literacy
o Peer Pressure
· From 1:30 - 3:00 PM, the general session will be held in the Devil Dome. Students from West and Wonder Jr High (80 students from each school) will be bused to the event. This will also be open to the public.
