A handful of musicians from the US Navy Band Jazz Commodores stopped by AWM ahead of their concert on Thursday night.
The jazz musicians gave words of wisdom to AWM's aspiring musicians as part of a special outreach mission. According to Chief Musician Andrew Francisco, "Our big goal is educational outreach."
Francisco added that the band enjoys stopping by schools and other educational settings to inspire students and let them know all the things the US Navy has to offer.
The musicians also played some of their music, improvising at many parts, for AWM band members.
The group will perform at the PAC at 7pm for FREE.
