1st place winner of the Rodney "kool-Aid" Riley Talent hunt.

The Student Engagement Department would like to congratulate Academies of West Memphis Student Saniya Barberfor winning 1st place in the annual Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Rodney "Kool-Aid" Riley talent hunt.

 

Saniya won first place by performing a beautiful piano solo and arrangement. Saniya is one of several talented students at the Academies of West Memphis where she plays the flute in the Blue Devil Marching Band and loves music as well.

 

Saniya will next compete in the regional competition in Rodgers, AR for more cash and scholarship prizes, along with a chance to compete in the national talent show in Tampa, FL.

 

The staff in the WMSD Student Engagement Department along with members of the Omega Psi Phi would like to thank everyone who worked to make the Rodney "Kool-Aid" Riley Talent Hunt a success.
