Congratulations to Faulk Elementary for achieving 2nd place in the Memphis Grizzlies Read to Achieve Program for week 4! Each week, reading books must align with the book theme of the week. Week 4’s theme was Autobiography, and the student reads about their favorite celebrity. After reading the book, students wrote about swapping lives with their favorite celebrity.
The Memphis Grizzlies Read to Achieve Program (RTA) is an excellent way to encourage students to read and develop a love for reading. The program consists of reading 20 minutes a day every day for six weeks. The Grizzlies will visit later this week to deliver reading incentives. We are thrilled to witness the West Memphis School District's success in this competition!
